Last time I went to Jerez, Zacatecas I ate prickly pears, cheese bread, dulce de leche, fresh fruit smoothies, etc. During my childhood years, I lived near this colonial town with its historical buildings from colonial times
and vivid colors like their civic hall (city picture below that I took). When walking in the Jardin (the park), we'd listen to live bands, children laughing, and "paleteros" selling ice cream and popcicles. It's relaxing, it's lively, it's Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico

La ultima vez que fui a Zacatecas, me puse a comer tunas, licuados, dulce de leche y de visnaga. En el mercado, hable con una senora muy amable que tenia trabajando en su puesto por 35 anos vendiendo chesos, dulces, y verduras. Compre una barra de chocolate llamada "Arcelia". Le pregunte que si me dejaba tomarle una foto y me dijo que si. La siguiente vez que la vea, la voy a saludar.
